This is one of my favorite positive affirmations statements:
Begin your day by feeling grateful. Be grateful for the bed you just slept in, the roof over your head, the carpet or floor under your feet, the running water, the soap, your shower, your toothbrush, your clothes, your shoes, the refrigerator that keeps your food cold, the car that you drive, your job, your friends.
Be grateful for the stores that make it so easy to buy the things you need, the restaurants, the utilities, services and electrical appliances that make your life effortless. Be grateful for the magazines and the books that you read. Be grateful for the chair that you sit on, and the pavement that you walk on. Be grateful for the weather, the sun, the sky, the birds, the trees, the grass, the rain and the flowers.
Thank you, thank you thank you!

"Z" stands for zest for life. It is to appreciate life in all its vitality and exuberance. It is to know that there is only one life that expresses itself in myriad forms. To see that life is to know that power is in the present moment. It is to know that I am that, that you are that, that all this is that, and that's all there is.
Tagore once said, "The same stream of life that runs through the world runs through my veins night and day and dances in rhythmic measure. It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth into numberless blades of grass and breaks into tumultuous waves of flowers."
He calls this "the life throb of ages, dancing in my blood this moment." To be in touch with this life throb of ages dancing in our blood this moment, is to have zest for life. It is to face the unknown with carefreeness and freedom. The unknown is the field of all possibilities in every moment of the present. And this is freedom, beyond the known of past conditioning, beyond the prison of space, time, and causation. As Don Juan once said to Carlos Castaneda, "It does not matter what our specific fate is, as long as we face it with ultimate abandon." This is carefreeness. This is joy. This is freedom. This is zest for life.

A lovely quote by author Louise L. Hay ~ an excerpt from her book,Heart Thoughts.
Many of you start new year resolutions on the first of the year, but because you don't make internal changes, the resolutions fall away very quickly. Until you make the inner changes and are willing to do some mental work, nothing out there is going to change. The only thing you need to change is a thought-only a thought. Even self-hatred is only hating a thought you have about yourself. What can you do for yourself this year in a positive way? What would you like to do for yourself this year that you did not do for yourself last. year? What would you like to let go of this year, that you clung to so tightly last year? What would you like to change in your life? Are you willing to do the work that will bring about those changes?
Go for the Joy. Make that your motto this year:
GO FOR JOY! LIFE IS HERE FOR YOU TO ENJOY TODAY!
Have a beautiful day,
